Ohio Implementation Project

This project consists of the installation of 12,000 Point of Sale (P.O.S.) terminals and their associated peripherals across Ohio. This includes the resources to install, manage and upkeep the system until its conversion on July 1, 2009. For this purpose, Managed Project Resources will be utilizing a specifically designed Project Team and employing additional help throughout the state.

Although these jobs are temporary, permanent positions for the daily maintenance of the Ohio system, and positions in the Managed Project Resources Project Teams, will be available after July 1, 2009.

Temporary Call Center Operator

Reports To: Call Center Manager
Location: Strongsville, Ohio
Wage: $11 per hour

Managed Project Resources is engaged in project that requires the distribution and installation of a Satellite communication network throughout Ohio. This network will support a new point of sales terminals at 9,000 retailers’ state wide. We are currently looking for individuals that have experience in call center customer service. This position is temporary but other positions in the prime vendors organization or MPR may open up during this project.

Education, Training and Experience

·         High school diploma or equivalent training and experience.

·         One (1) year prior related customer service experience, preferably in a technical call center environment

·         Call tracking system experience preferred

Location

Positions are open in the Strongsville office.

With the position being a service based position some weekends and overtime will be required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·         Knowledge of tracking software

·         Technical customer service skills

·         Strong analytic skills

·         Ability to learn MPR’s software and hardware applications as applied to the Call Center Operator position

·         Ability to work in a team environment

·         Ability to troubleshoot

·         Ability to explain technical information to a non-technical client

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Understanding of help desk operations, tools, methodologies and processes 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Call Center Manager, performs the following duties and responsibilities.  Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.

·         Manages inbound phone calls from Install Technicians

·         Manages inbound phone calls from Lottery retailers

·         Effectively troubleshoot equipment and related issues or problems in response to inbound retailer calls, inquiries, or questions

·         Dispatch technicians as appropriate for on-site repairs

 

Physical, Intellectual and Affective Requirements

Physical:

·         The employee may be required to work shifts up to twelve and one half hours in length.

·         The employee will be required to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position.

·         The employee will regularly be required to sit; speak; listen; hear; have visual ability to determine colors and see up to 20 feet with or without corrective lenses; read instructions, computer screens, and printed materials without external assistance other than corrective lenses; grasp with hands and fingers; and reach with hands and arms.

·         The employee will occasionally be required to stand and walk.

·         The employee must possess motor coordination ability to coordinate eyes, hands, feet and fingers, rapidly and accurately, in response to sensory stimuli.

·         The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Intellectual:

·         The employee must be able to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply and divide) accurately.

·         The employee must be able to read and comprehend written and printed materials, and information on a computer screen.

Affective

·         The employee must be able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment that requires flexibility, a bias toward action, and decisiveness.

 

Work Environment:

·         Hours will vary through the initial training and start-up period.   Day, night, weekend and holiday shifts up to 12-1/2 hours per shift, and limited overtime will be required.

·         The noise level in the work environment is usually low.

Temporary Delivery Driver

Reports To: Logistics Manager
Location: Strongsville, Ohio
Wage: $15 per hour

Managed Project Resources is engaged in project that requires the distribution and installation of a new point of sales (P.O.S.) terminals at 9,000 retailers’ throughout Ohio. We are currently looking for individuals that have experience in troubleshooting and basic computer repair skills. This position is temporary but other positions in the prime vendors organization or MPR may open up during this project.

  

Location

Positions are open Strongsville, Ohio. MPR will supply technicians with a vehicle, gas, cell phone and the required tools to perform P.O.S. and Satellite deliveries.

·         Some overnight stays may be required.

·         With the position being a service based position some weekends and overtime will be required.

  

Education, Training and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to operate a 24ft box truck
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and layout delivery routes
  • Self motivated and can work unsupervised.

  

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Manager, performs the following duties and responsibilities.  Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.

·         Deliver POS terminals, related equipment and supplies.

·         Load and unload trucks.

Location: 60 Locations throughout Ohio
Wage: $15 per hour

Managed Project Resources is engaged in project that requires the distribution and installation of a new point of sales (P.O.S.) terminals at 9,000 retailers’ throughout Ohio. We are currently looking for individuals that have experience in troubleshooting and basic computer repair skills. This position is temporary but other positions in the prime vendors organization or MPR may open up during this project.

Positions are open in 60 areas across the state. MPR will supply technicians with a vehicle, gas, cell phone and the required tools to perform P.O.S. maintenance.

·         Technicians will be required to spend some time in Cleveland’s main office for training, equipment issuing and team activities.

·         Some overnight stays may be required.

·         With the position being a service based position some weekends and overtime will be required.

 

Education, Training and Experience

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         2-3 years experience with electronics a plus.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·         Knowledge of basic computer operation.

·         Ability to analyze, prioritize and efficiently resolve technical problems.

Temporary VSAT Technician

Reports To: Logistics Manager

·          2-3 years experience with commercial communication systems or electronics

  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·          Knowledge of commercial VSAT and telecommunication systems.

·          Operation of VSAT test equipment skills.

·          Ability to analyze, prioritize and efficiently resolve technical problems.

·          Ability to prioritize, organize and manage projects to completion.

·          Able to use power and hand tools effectively.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Manager, performs the following duties and responsibilities.  Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.

·          Deliver, install, and maintain satellite dishes and related equipment, retailer POS terminals and supplies. 

·          Troubleshoot equipment problems.

·          Provide technical support to customers.

·          Use power and hand tools and to perform installation operation and maintenance support for satellite terminals and associated antenna systems.

·          Service satellites on rooftop installations

Temporary Warehouse Technician

Reports To: OBT Manager
Location: Strongsville, Ohio
Wage: $15 per hour

Managed Project Resources is engaged in project that requires the distribution and installation of the new point of sales (P.O.S.) terminals at 9,000 retailers’ throughout Ohio. We are currently looking for individuals that have experience in shipping, receiving and delivery. This position is temporary but other positions in the prime vendors organization or MPR may open up during this project.

 

Location

Positions are open in the Strongsville warehouse. MPR will supply technicians with the required tools to perform P.O.S. testing..

·         With the position being a service based position some weekends and overtime will be required.

 

Education, Training and Experience

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         2-3 years experience with electronics a plus.

  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·         Knowledge of basic computer operation.

·         Ability to analyze, prioritize and efficiently resolve technical problems.
